Sometimes we stumble upon new products that are just too good not to share!
This month, we discovered DavidsTea, a “premium tea retailer devoted to uncompromising customer service and the proliferation of the world’s finest teas.” Their mission? To bring the best teas from all over the world into our lives, one delicious cup at a time. And, with a selection of more than 150 loose teas from which to choose, we’ve made it our mission to try them all.
In the interest of full disclosure, we were introduced to DavidsTea by Cynthia’s daughter, Sarah, who is working as a “tea guide” at DavidsTea’s new Westport location. And we are now as obsessed as she is with the brand, and thrilled we can enjoy tea time when we’re running around NYC, as well! Our personal favorites include Exotica (lemongrass, pink peppercorn, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, pineapple, orange peel and coconut), Midsummer Night’s Dream (apple pieces, spearmint, gooseberries, orange oil, marigold blossoms, safflowers and rose petals), Chocolate Chili Chai (China black tea, Ancho chili bits, Aleppo chili bits, red peppercorns, chocolate bits and lily petals) and Mother’s Little Helper (peppermint, lemongrass, rosehips, hibiscus, chamomile, valerian root and cornflowers). Whew! These are most definitely not your grandmother’s teas!
So if you’re on our holiday gift list this year (and, you know who you are!), expect to find something from DavidsTea in your stocking. We know, once you try it, you’ll be as obsessed as we are!
